Introducing Kennan Langsford

Kennan Langsford grew up listening to a variety of musicians and genres that have played an influential role in shaping their signature sound. Now an aspiring Classical Musician, he aims to offer something different and unique to his fans by creating and sharing music. Kennan has performed with many ensembles around San Diego including the San Diego State University Wind Symphony and Symphony Orchestra Orchestra, Nova Horn Quartet, La Jolla Brass, City Ballet, Hornswoggle San Diego, and various community colleges in the area. He has created numerous virtual performances using his audio and video editing prowess.

Kennan grew up with a love of movie soundtracks and band literature. He was drawn to the sensual sound of the horn's sweet singing melodies and the powerful and thunderous fanfare that emanated from the films he watched. He picked up the horn in 7th grade after spending a few years playing the trumpet. The draw of the horn was too great and he loved every minute of it. he spent his years dedicated to the horn and had a newfound revelation after attending the Eastman Summer Horn Institute, he wanted to do this for the rest of his life. For most people, music is just a way to let out a little bit of energy, but for Kennan Langsford it’s so much more than that– it’s a way of life.
